Our ITV staff as part of the Office of eLearning at the South Carolina Department of
Education is responsible for acquiring and producing valuable instructional television
resources for our public school students, teachers, and administrators. Located at ETV,
the ITV team works closely with ETV’s School Services, Engineering, and Production
Departments. ETV provides expert production and delivery services that make
instructional television available to our schools while the South Carolina Department of Education is charged with providing the curriculum content and coordinating ITV services.

ITV is responsible for programming the instructional television resources on eight of ETV's digital satellite channels to K-12 schools in South Carolina! ITV has produced with ETV programs such as Project Discovery, Eye Wonder, and a new South Carolina social studies series, Detective Bonz and the SC History Mystery. These innovative, locally-produced ITV programs certainly expand young minds with information and excitement!

ITV and ETV also produce programs for our school communities! In Our Schools with Jim Rex features programs focusing on important educational initiatives that have proven successful in improving student achievement at several schools in our state and on our newly-named National Blue Ribbon schools. And, more than nine professional development series produced by the South Carolina Department of Education
have been made available via ETV for teachers and administrators.
